Summary/Abstract: In the globalization era the development problems of developing countries are of particular importance. This group also includes countries in sub-Saharan Africa where there is almost no industry, and citizens’ standard of living is very low. To change this dramatic situation the capital is required. The paper is divided into two parts. First, some general facts about inter-African investing are presented. The second part is devoted to inter-African investment in Eastern and Southern Africa. These two sub-regions play key roles in the field of foreign direct investment in sub-Saharan Africa. However, due to the limited number of pages in this paper, it is difficult to widely present all aspects involved in the subject matter.
