Summary/Abstract: The key issue in this essay is the role that imagination plays in the human way of being in the world. The author considers the educational contexts of revealing the difference between fiction and reality. There are two kind of experiences in man's life allowing to notice the process of revealing the difference. These are celebration ans art. Both of them shoul be included in the educational discourse. The interpretation is based on a short story as well as on some philosophical texts. Thinking of the concepts of temporality and imagination, the author attempts to answer the question of the way that fiction teaches us to educate and to raise our children.
