Summary/Abstract: The article analyses the philosophical aspect of entrepreneurship education. Classification of philosophical trends of entrepreneurship education is presented. The article investigates the impact of philosophical trends oriented to ethics and effective activity on the development of entrepreneurship. An ethics – oriented philosophical trend of entrepreneurship education demands to create the environment that stimulates entrepreneurship spirit. It is well recognized that ethics is the essence of free market. The process of setting up commercial ventures, ambitiously founded enterprises of commerce and business has not been well researched. Entrepreneurs’ goal is wealth. Admittedly, some are motivated by altruistic reasons; others are quite generous if not altruistic. Education institutions should fully perform their function and eliminate obstacles for students’ self – expression and create the learning/teaching environment based on openness and respect where individual creativity could be realised. The effective activity-oriented philosophical concept of entrepreneurship education is based on pragmatism and constructivism. According to it, the main goal of entrepreneurship education is to promote personal development and to meet working world’s needs. The Effective activity-oriented philosophical concept of entrepreneurship education helps to find solutions of clearly determined problems. Following this philosophical concept an education institution can give knowledge, develop abilities and skills necessary to perform a clearly defined objective activity. Using an effective-activity oriented philosophical strategy education institutions can provide necessary help for students while teaching, however, this requires necessary preconditions: clear aims, reliable and well-known methods and accessible resources to achieve them. Constructivism is the philosophy of learning but not a methodology of teaching. It should be used to improve the teaching process. Constructivism – oriented teachers should be skilled developing social climate in the classroom favourable for students to discuss, reflect on, and make sense of the tasks.
