Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the search, implementation and assessment of innovative methods for development of students’ creativity in higher education. the issues of innovations in higher education and education science works in particular is in the stage of evolvement. The aim of the article is to investigate the possibilities for the development of creativity for postgraduate students of colleges with professional teachers’ qualifacation of art & technology who continue their studies at Šiauliai university through studying the didactics of technology. The results of empirical investigation proved that innovative methods for the development of creativity may have a huge impact on students’ didactic competence, personal creative abilities as well as provide opportunities for the lecturers to objectively assess the results of their creativity.
