CONSIDERATIONS ON THE DYNAMICS OF STORAGE AREAS AND INDUSTRIAL AREAS IN PITESTI CITY

Summary/Abstract: The industrial and warehouse areas are a part of the functional areas of an urban settlement. The dynamics of the surface thereof, vary depending on size and development of the city, both on population and economic development. The relief presents of special importance in the dynamics of industrial zones, through conditions imposed by it. The industrial areas contribute greatly to the development of the city, both on economically and demographically. In the Pitesti case, the development of the city was mainly due to the industrialization process conducted during the socialist period, evidenced by the establishment of new industrial units, expanding existing ones and increase production capacity. The post revolutionary period, is characterized by some changes about the industrial and warehouse areas, which have helped to change some aspects of these areas.
