Summary/Abstract: The spectacular evolution of human society fundamentally altered perceptions of war and armed confrontation and put the old problem of conflict in a new light, due to the accumulation of unprecedented destructive power. In these circumstances, the entire scaffolding theory on conflict physiognomy should pay special attention to the stage following the end of the conflict itself, namely the period that is characterized most often as "neither peace nor war". The diversity of specific post-conflict situations as well as the need to approach and solve a wide range of diverse problems recommend the military structures as the only organisms capable of an appropriate response in such situations, since by their nature, organization and equipment they can act quickly and effectively. Since the subject matter is quite broad, this article aims only to identify some theoretical aspects of post-conflict reconstruction and the principles to be applied in the framework of modern confrontations.
