Summary/Abstract: The need to write this article was generated by interesting debates which I had to mediate in the seminar classes within the Post-university program of life-long professional development, "leadership in the educational management field”, regarding functional and dysfunctional aspects of military educational management. As the educational system and the educational process are distinct entities, while they still depend on each other, we felt the need to make some notional clarifications and underline the practical implications upon the military educational management processes.
