Summary/Abstract: For the last two decades, the role of e-learning in the education process – at all levels – has increased. Nowadays is being used more and more in continuous professional training of adults. But, what about trainers training? What about teachers initial and continuous training? Can we use the method of e-learning in teacher training? How much space can we give to e-learning and what competences can be achieved and developed through this method? What should be the relationship between e-learning and other classic methods? These are just a few issues to which this paper is trying to find some answers.
