Summary/Abstract: This article concerns the effect of trust on company’s development through organizational learning. Data presented in this paper come from questionnaire survey, conducted in outstanding Polish enterprises. The results demonstrate strong significant relationships between knowledge sharing, as a trust symptom, and other elements of Positive Organizational Potential. Firm aiming towards competitive advantage should, in the first place, ensure the perceptions of trustworthiness and benevolence among all employees and managers because it supports effective organizational learning and numerous desired outcomes. Moreover, the study provides evidence for a trust diffusion and shows the crucial role in trust building process is played by positive attitudes and social competences of midlevel managers.
