First Empiric Research of the Out of Wedlock Cohabitation of Heterosexuals in Bulgaria

Summary/Abstract: The offered study reports of some results of the first empiric research of the out of wedlock cohabitation of heterosexuals in Bulgaria. The article concentrates on the attitude of public opinion towards this contemporary type of out of wedlock cohabitation of heterosexuals which is very much different from the traditional ethnic culture of the prevailing social groups. Reported is the attitude towards the cohabitation of heterosexuals of three generations — school students of the upper classes, their parents and their grandparents, as well as of unmarried people between 25 and 60.
