Job Names In French And Romanian

Summary/Abstract: The present paper discusses the job titles from a Romanian-French contrastive perspective. We insist on the names of trades, as the feminization of society has led to changes in the language. We shall see whether or not there are differences between French and Romanian regarding the gender indication as a grammatical category. Since both languages have the grammatical category of gender, we will focus mainly on trade names.
