ON EXPERIMENTS IN SLOVAK FICTION AFTER 1989

Summary/Abstract: The author of the paper describes an experiment as a method that is used to modify and deconstruct typical features of epic texts in various structural categories, for example in narrative temporality or in composition. M. Součková puts an emphasis on efficiency of experiments in which modifications have also other meaning than just a new way of expressing ideas (though innovative). The author uses examples from experimental literary works by Tomáš Horváth, Balla, Pavol Rankov and Jana Bodnárová.
