Fragments of the night themes in the works of Peter the Monk

Summary/Abstract: Medieval studies often concerned the problems of the night. Scientists realize importance of its aspects and their impact on the medieval mind. But in case of Bulgarian Middle Ages such topic is known as such, but unfortunately it has not been studied properly from various aspects. There are many peculiarities which must be investigated in depth. These are moments concerning popular religious believes, social relations, and details of everyday life. It must be pointed out that some activities are mentioned, usually in considerable details. At the same time an investigation can reveal unexpected information and re-reading of historical sources in searching of .The Night in Bulgarian Middle Ages. is fruitful. Such investigation cannot be accomplished without works of Peter the Monk.
