Summary/Abstract: In this paper the author considers the sources of Sufi literature in the langguages of Muslims belonging to different cultural regions of the Muslim world. Along with the author’s extremely interesting observations and comparative analyses, the paper provides valuable information on the state of manuscripts in various collections world-wide, on critical and popular editions, and on translations of major Sufi works into other, particularly European languages.
