Universality of Bosnian spirit

Summary/Abstract: The author of this unfinished paper, who died in 1992, sets out his own obsservations on a highly topical subject, the originality and authenticity of the spirit of Bosnia. He highlights in particular the fact that the original spirit of Bosnia is the product of the syncretism of centuries of spiritual heritage. This religious and cultural syncretism was to foster the receptivity of the Bosnian spirit, and in Bosnia’s political history was to mediate the notion of multilateralism, which has invariably been contested and demonstrated anew with the passage of time.
