Summary/Abstract: In the present article the author does not attempt to perform a comprehensive analysis of the creative method of the RSFSR people’s artist V. M. Zvontsov. The article contains briefly announced principal stages of his life in close connection with his artistic, educational, organizational and social activities. Based on the author’ speech at the Zvontsov’s personal exhibition grand opening at Halls of St. Petersburg Union of Artists.
