Summary/Abstract: Based on archive sources, the article analyses the education and training of Bulgarian cadets at (IMPERIO REGIA) ACCADEMIA DI COMMERCIO E DI NAUTICA (Trieste) in the period 1892–1942. The article proves the time frame of this education. It also points out the reasons for its recurrence in the stated period and the contribution of the officers, graduates from the Trieste Academy, for the establishment of the Bulgarian naval educational system and shipping.
