Summary/Abstract: Today, the development of a tourist region is strongly associated with its attractiveness as a tourist destination (in terms of its natural, cultural and anthropogenic resources). In order to be competitive, however, enterprises in the region also need to cooperate in the development of the tourist destination. One aspect of this cooperation are business consultations carried out by companies with their partners in the region. The aim of this study is to determine how a large group of entrepreneurs in the tourism industry communicated with each other concerning their business operations, and what areas these consultations concerned. The empirical section of the study was written on the basis of the results of surveys conducted among business owners from different parts of the Małopolska region.
