Summary/Abstract: The leading objective of the author was to illustrate the activity of apartyworker in terms of perception of a practitioner himself. The range of problems concerning partyworking as a modern variety of streetworking receiving increased attention among social welfare institutions was outlined. The author's intention was to signal certain areas of partyworker activities seen through the eyes of a practitioner. The issues dealt with were used as provocation for “helpers” so as to deepen their own reflections as well as to conduct thorough and multidimensional interpretation. Thus the presentation of an innovative method of streetworking and exploration of individual experience is a purposeful measure. The author also raises an issue related to the damage reduction policy presently causing a number of controversies in Polish legislature and not only there.
