Level of social infrastructure development in Wrocław

Summary/Abstract: In this article the analysis of transformations in social infrastructure in Wrocław in the years 2003‒2012 has been done. For this research four parts of this infrastructure have been separated with their basic components: educational infrastructure (pre-schools, schools, institutions of higher education), culture and art infrastructure (e.g. libraries, museums, cinemas), health and social care infrastructure (e.g. hospital beds, chemists’, nurseries, social care institutions), sport and leisure infrastructure (e.g. green spaces, sport clubs). On the basis of the characteristic diagnostic features the taxonomic measurements for particular years have been constructed.
