Strategy of health and safety at work – aspects of business companies

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the issues of strategy development in the area of health and safety at international and national levels. The purpose of this study is to analyze selected results of research carried out in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship and Łódź Voivodeship, in the context of ongoing strategic objectives in terms of safety. The research shows a low level of awareness and the implementation of fundamental legal obligations by Polish entrepreneurs and staff. This is a significant barrier to the pursuit of European standards and objectives achievement.
