Implementation of safety at work strategy in the aspect of accidents at work causes investigation

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the issues of implementation of the strategy in the area of health and safety in the selected enterprise. Analysis was carried out 141 accidents at work that took place in the selected organization in the last six years, in terms of causes and demographic characteristics of the victims, which determine the accident in the company. The study confirms that despite the existence of many research techniques, managers and accident teams and health and safety services focus only on reporting accidents and do not make a thorough analysis of causes of accidents at work, which makes the preventive actions ineffective, and the implementation of the strategy impossible.
