STRUCTURAL-SEMANTIC PECULIARITIES OF THE PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS WITH HEAD WORD ‘SKY’ IN BULGARIAN

Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to outline the specifics of idiomatic expressions with the headword ‘sky’ in Bulgarian. For the sake of the comprehensiveness of the study of the aforementioned semantic field the analysis here is based both upon the form and structural components of the idiomatic expressions and their content (semantic volume, the nature of the semantic structure and the relationship between them). The observations made here are a part of a larger ongoing work.
