Summary/Abstract: The majority of Poland’s trade partners are European countries. Among its partners in imports, however, China is one of the leaders. The paper aims at presenting trade relations between Poland and China from 2006 to 2011. The intensity and dynamics of exports and imports, as well as trade balance have been studied. Commodity pattern of the Polish-Chinese trade has been analysed. The character of Poland’s trade with China has been evaluated with the application of: trade coverage indicator (TC), B. Balassa’s revealed comparative advantage indicator (RCA) and H.G. Grubel-P.J. Lloyd’s intra-industry trade indicator (IIT).
