General Technological Aspects in Musical Digitology

Summary/Abstract: Information technology is a reality of today’s world, a phenomenon continuously adopting new and more complex areas of activity. Its basic instrument, the computer, is part of an alert process of discharging rough work, a “tornado”, which at some point will inevitably touch teachers’ homes. The supposed disciple will not put in hours and years in order to attend traditional public lectures, when he owns a computer at home, connected to the Internet, allowing him to visualize anything in real time, with minimum effort. It is therefore imperiously necessary to adapt the teaching methods to the new techniques! Besides the basic knowledge required from a teacher in his area of specialization, the new prototype of teacher is required to have basic knowledge regarding the technical possibilities of a computer.
