Summary/Abstract: The paper presents regional products as an important factor shaping the image and visibility of the region. The paper uses the results of surveys on gingerbread as a symbol of the Toruń city. The results clearly show the marketing power of well promoted local product, which is Toruń gingerbread in the city of Toruń, acting as tourist souvenirs and promotion of the region
