Sources of financing the environmental protection in Poland

Summary/Abstract: All action taken for financing the environmental protection in Poland is an integral part of the financial segment of the economy and at the same time an essential element of the country’s environmental policy. This article presents financial instruments that finance the tasks in the fields of environmental protection and water management. Without using such instruments, it would be impossible to achieve the environmental objectives and priorities defined in the National Environmental Policy and thus to fulfill the commitments written down in the Accession Treaty.
