Summary/Abstract: The concept of Corporate Social Responsibility more and more often arouses interest among theoreticians and practitioners. Companies implementing the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility should be better seen by the economic environment. Because their actions are more predictable we can expect their higher valuation. This article aims to determine whether to take action in CSR by Polish companies listed on the WSE, reflected in their valuation. The theoretical part of the article refers to shareholders as internal stakeholders in CSR. The practical part contains an analysis of the main stock market indicators of companies declaring their CSR activities compared to other companies across sectors. In most sectors, the companies belonging to the RESPECT index (implementing CSR) have reached a higher valuation than other companies.
