Summary/Abstract: The rapid growth of e-commerce is becoming a challenge for both e-companies and bodies providing services for them. The number of executed transactions may not lead to business downtime for e-shops, as well companies that support them for logistics. It is, inter alia, the development contribution warehouse market in Central and Eastern Europe, which are also noticeable diversification processes. Among the factors that determine them to be not only a growing demand in the field of e-commerce, but also improving infrastructure, and higher quality of services trade. Constantly ingrowth pressure from customers and an emphasis on timeliness and costs of supply, also are not irrelevant. The purpose of this article is therefore based on the observation of market changes and trends occurring in it, an indication of the role of the e-commerce market development of warehouse space in Poland and in selected countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
