Problem of coordination of ecological policy and social policy in the context of sustainable development

Summary/Abstract: In the article an issue of the coordination of social policy and ecological policy was presented in the context of sustainable development. A thesis was put forward that getting sustainable development to environmental issues was not only unjustified, but could also lead to the problem in the realization of this idea because of omitting of social matters. Social aspects of sustainable development were pointed. The nature of sustainable social policy was described. Links between social and ecological policies were described, and next abilities of prosocial solutions were indicated in ecological policy and environment-friendly solutions in social policy. Desired solutions are prosocial especially in the sphere of the structure of the low-emission economy and the waste disposal economy. However, the possibilities of environment-friendly solutions exist among others in the sphere of education policy, policy of health care, housing policy and the policy of poverty counteraction.
