Summary/Abstract: I chose this topic because studies about Byzantine Christian women in the world (during the first centuries) are relatively few, as well as the historical sources. This article is important because it seeks to illustrate a different perspective of the women in the early Christian centuries while relying on comparisons, parallels and reviews of the historical and religious sources. In this article I discussed their views about the Christian women from the view of the Holy Fathers from the Byzantine society based on various Bible verses from both the Old and New Testaments which make. Also another reference for this research subject, were also a few female role models who have contributed to the knowledge of the roles of women from those early times. The relationship between man and woman is of sacred nature, in which the two play an equally important role. However, the role and status of the female face many disadvantages over time, being the target of misconceptions and superstitions and having the most humble status. The last part of the work constitutes an annex in which I made parallels between the Rules of Pachomius and the ones of Basil the Great, trying to highlight the administration of monasteries and the specific elements related to women.
