INSTRUMENTE MEDICALE DESCOPERITE RECENT LA APULUM
MEDICAL INSTRUMENTS RECENTLY DISCOVERED AT APULUM

Summary/Abstract: The author presents two medical instruments (pl. 3/1-2) discovered in two preventive archaeological researches carried out in 2016 and 2017 in Alba Iulia - Dealul Furcilor (pl. 1/1-2), in the area previously occupied by the Roman canabae from Apulum / Municipium Septimium Apulense. Such pieces have been discovered in the researches carried out on the territory of Dacia Superior in almost all urban centers. The pieces presented on this occasion contribute to the replenishment of the repertoire of medical objects discovered at Apulum. Until now, the decoration found on the spatula handle (pl. 3/1a-c) is unique between the pieces discovered at Apulum.
