Summary/Abstract: In this article we bring the specialists' attention on a new archaeological site and a possible Târnăvița version of the Jászladány ax type, which was discovered on the current territory of Alba county in Tibru locality. Identification and recovery were done by Ioan Căliman, doctor in the locality, who donated it for the National Union Museum of Alba Iulia, being provided with the number. 8805. The introductionin the scientific circuit of the new archaeological point Vărsătură-on the right bank and the possible version of Târnăvita of the Jászladányax type, complete the archaeological repertoire of Alba County, being added to the other axes of the Târnăvița version. We do not have the perfect analogies for this version. Five versions of the Jászladány type are known in the literature: Târnăvita, Orșova, Șincai, Petrești, Brad, special forms and unknown forms. Given that the ax has been discovered occasionally, it is difficult to determine to which culture it belongs. On the current territory of the Alba county, a fairly small number of axes belonging to the Jászladány type have been discovered, which are mentioned in the specialized literature, but they cover a wide area of distribution which includes both the present territory of Romania and Poland, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Bohemia.
