Summary/Abstract: The article is dedicated to a Bronze Age feature discovered at the site Ampoiţa-La Pietre, Alba county. The site is located in Ampoiţa, on the left side of the creek with the same name, in the catchment of the Ampoi river. The materials were discovered during the systematic archaeological research conducted in 2000. Among the discoveries there are some special objects such as stone axes (pl. 5/6, 9), a weight from a loom (system cap) made of ceramic (pl. 5/5), sandstone (whetstone) (pl. 5/10), three scrapers of jasper (pl. 5/8; 6/1, 3), a rub grinder (pl. 6/2), an antler partly worked (pl. 6/4), three beads (pl. 5/1-3), a grinder made of a pebble (pl. 5/4) and a possible tool made of river stone worked at one end (pl. 5/7). We add to this the miniature vessels fragments, bowls, tureen, bag pots, conical and biconical vessels, and storage vessels. The ceramics decorations vary from one type of vessel to the other. Together with the pottery shapes, they indicate the late 3rd and beginning of the 4th phase of the Wietenberg culture. The materials we presented complete the repertoire of discoveries from the site of Ampoiţa-La Pietre, and also contribute to a better knowledge of the Wietenberg habitation in the Ampoi valley.
