Protection of archival and registry records in extraordinary circumstances in the laws and regulations of the Republic of Srpska

Summary/Abstract: The archival material as movable cultural property is treated in the legal solutions of the utmost importance for the Republic of Serbian. Across the laws and especially the Law on Cultural Property and the Law on archival activity is regulated protection of archive material but in normal conditions. However, very little or almost no way regulates the protection of archives in exceptional circumstances.Also in your jurisdiction archival services is not specified archive jurisdiction over the implementation of measures of planning and implementation of protection of archives in emergency situations. Also in the Laws do not have clear established competence of archival service in the Republic of Srpska that prescribes the jurisdiction of the Archives over the implementation of measures of planning and implementation of protection of archival material in emergency situations.Protection Act and implementing emergency in the system of protection and rescue in emergency situations and protection of certain cultural goods. In the future we probably need to pay greater attention to the adoption of an ordinance on the protection of cultural assets including archives in extraordinary circumstances in the Archives of Republika Srpska and planned training of people organized to act in cases of emergency proclamation.
