Summary/Abstract: The Bulgarian community, along with other local communities, brought its contribution, not to a high extent, but still not to a neglectable one, to the formation of the economic, social, political, cultural and religious life of the town of Galaţi, a port situated in a border area. The article briefly presents the Statutes of the Bulgarian Community from Galaţi, adopted in 1930, regulations ruling the life of the community during the first half of the XX-th century. Although the Bulgarian community from Galaţi doesn’t have a troubled history, like other minoritary communities, still, its mere documentary attestation in Galaţi grants it the right to be consigned by historiography.
