Summary/Abstract: This work presents the results of an empirical research which aims to discover and compare the differences between two generations currently on Bulgarian labour market – the generation now entering the labour market and the generation situated in the middle of its career development – in their preferences towards some job characteristics, organizational stimuli and work outcomes. First, there is a synopsis of the results of previous similar studies on generational differences. Then, the results of the empirical research conducted have been introduced. The results have been analyzed and the basic differences found between the two generations of respondents have been outlined.
