THE SELECTED OWNERSHIP MARKS OCCURRING IN THE BOOKS OF THE NINETEENTH-CENTURY COLLECTION IN THE LIBRARY OF THE THEOLOGICAL AND PASTORAL INSTITUTE AND THE SEMINARY OF RZESZÓW

Summary/Abstract: Marks of ownership traced in the books are valuable, but often underestimated source of historical knowledge. In the books of the nineteenth-century collection in the Library of the Theological and Pastoral Institute and the Seminary of Rzeszów there are many of interesting marks of ownership in form of stamps and labels that say much about former owners. The examination of such marks allows to deepen our knowledge about them.
