Special Instances of Verbal Government in the Raikovo Damascene Book

Summary/Abstract: In the article instances are examined where the verbal government in the Raikovo damascene book departs from the government of the particular verbs in the contemporary Bulgarian literary language. Such cases are mainly recorded with a personal pronoun object in the accusative instead of the dative and in the dative instead of the accusative. Most valuable are the coincidences of the verbal government in the homily with that in Old Bulgarian. Elsewhere such coincidences are of an accidental nature.
