The functioning of the shopping malls in downtown district of Katowice

Summary/Abstract: Shopping centers have become an integral part of the structure of modern cities in Poland. In Katowice, there are two malls in the downtown district and interact in many ways the functioning of Katowice. Considering their place in the structure of the chain of retail and service center, we can said, that both contribute to the economic revival of the downtown area, evidence may numerous food service places, recreation, service and retail and commercial drainage function of the inner-city streets.
