Summary/Abstract: The article examines two hitherto unknown calendar entries reflecting events of the Bulgarian church-political history during the third quarter of the 9th c.: the victory of Prince Boris-Michael over the rebels who wanted the restoration of paganism (March 2) and the consecration of the Church of Apostle Peter въ Бѹгарехь (April 2). The entries are in the menaion of a Serbian manuscript of the late 13th–early 14th с. (Petersburg, FIRI RAN, ZES 680). The first entry gives grounds definitively to establish the date of Bulgaria’s conversion to Christianity. The second expands the circle of testimonies about the links of the State with Rome in the 60s of the 9th с. In connection with this are examined the peculiarities of the formation and development of the Church Bulgarian calendar during the First Kingdom.
