Summary/Abstract: Arguments are advanced in the article that the Glagolitic alphabet was a system of symbols which contained the figurative notion of the mediaeval Christian of the divine order in the world. The symbolic code of the Glagolitic matrix put forward the Christian idea for the presentation of which had been created the Slavonic alphabet. The glagolitic graphemes, like the system of letters, had their meaning to which no importance has hitherto been attached. The aspect of meaning of the graphic models of the principal directions in the comprehensive graphic model of the Glagolitic alphabet are analysed, paying particular attention to the letters.
