Summary/Abstract: Nowadays, the proximity between languages is not anymore something to fear, but a reliable source in the foreign language learning process. The aim of this paper is to stand for the utility of the similarity between languages, being based on the results of various psycholinguistic studies and intercomprehesion projects.
