Summary/Abstract: The purpose of our paper is to highlight the way in which, overtime, we changed the perspective towards the notion of error in the learning of a foreign language. Nowadays, the error is an invalidated hypothesis which the learner formulates and whose result testifies, most of the time, the creativity of the learner.
