Summary/Abstract: The German metalexicography of the last decade is preoccupied by exposing the phraseology in (phraseological) dictionaries from the language user’s perpective and from the perspective of his consulting needs. Starting from theoretical considerations regarding the creation of a dictionary entry, the importance of the quality criteria of a lexicographic work, the principle of addressability and the current phraseographic practice, this study exemplarily exposes the main difficulties of the phraseographic practice from a non-native speaker’s perspective and the shortcomings of the Romanian bilingual phraseological dictionaries.
