Summary/Abstract: Business concept is linked to the activities of the market and should include decisions and marketing projects. The purpose of the article is an indication of the place and role of marketing issues in business concepts. The article shows the characteristics of the business concept, their different types and content. The authors describe changing in recent years, the approach to marketing and its dual role in relation to the business concept. On the one hand, we treat marketing as a significant external factor in influence on the shape of the concept of a particular business, and, on the other hand, we see marketing as an internal element of the business concept.
