Summary/Abstract: Oskar Żebrowski (born ca.1809, died 18830), Polish philosopher and engineer, generally diveded Europe on two parts: South- Western and North-Eastern. In his opinion natural territory of Poland should be bordered by the Baltic Sea, Black Sea and rivers: Oder, Daugava, Dnieper. In his thought Poland was divede on two parts, which was a reult of drainage divides separating drainage basins of Baltic Sea and Black Sea. By him drainage divides were very important poltiical boundaries
