Summary/Abstract: Evgeny Messner was a Russian professional soldier (colonel) and military theorist. He a new war strategy, which called “mutiny war” (rebel war; Russian: myatezhevoyny). He predicted that the future wars would be waged by small and special forces and terrorist cells (Leaderless Resistance strategy) gaining influence by subversion and organised revolutions rather than through traditional warfare.
