Summary/Abstract: Organizational culture is the shared values by all the members of an organization. Organizational commitment is the acceptance of these values and organizational goals by the employees, which could be defined by being ready for to work more and having a big desire for to stay within the organization. With this aim, an empirical study conducted on the employees of a retailing company. According to the results of this study, it is proved that organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment of the employees. Specifically, the level of sociability of an organization has a positive and significant effect on all the dimensions of organizational commitment of the employees whereas the level of solidarity of an organization has a positive and significant effect only on normative commitment of the employees.
