Summary/Abstract: The different researches in motivation, the motives and the needs have long history. The theories for motivation generated in the time between the end of 1960 and the beginning of 1970, make that period to be called “the golden years” of the theories for the labor motivation. The period during the 1980 is a witness of a series of improvements and spreading, or, finalizing of the development of the already existing theories for motivation throughout the new face - the culture. From the researches about the dependency among the culture and the motivational theories, it is suggested that the motivational theories are also culturally partial. Most of them contain and reflect the values and norms of the culture in which they are developed. The article contains analyzed and determined aspects from the research of Hofstede.
